I confirmed my appointment over a month in advance, and had follow up conversation regarding the cost estimate. Yet this morning, nearly two hours after they were to arrive I called and was told that i never confirmed the appointment and the part hasn’t even been ordered. I’ve heard from others since booking this appointment to beware but can now add my own feedback to that warning. Don’t use this company and expect actually customer service or apparently any service.

This morning on Teusday 4/22/25 at 6:30 AM I witnessed a company vehicle from Kicking Ash tailgating a small car maybe a foot away from the bumper and flashing his brights on 270. He then switched lanes behind be and started flashing his brights. Having a semi in front of me, going faster was not an option. I have seen and dealt with fatalities from from collisions and this guy was driving like he wanted to cause one or be in one. It is one thing to jeopardize your own life but when you drive recklessly you are jeopardizing innocent people. As a company I would be concerned about the conduct of employees in company vehicles.

We had a thorough evaluation of our old gas fireplace system and they discovered a dangerous problem with the valve. We stopped by the showroom to pick out a new system. They have a wide selection and got us a good price. Alex installed the system yesterday and it’s going great! Super service and very clean.

Kicking Ash has cleaned and serviced my gas fireplace for the last several years. I am always impressed with their attention to minimizing mess and how professional the team is. I had used the wrong cleaner on my glass and had caused a solid black buildup on the backside. To my surprise, Taylor cleaned it perfectly and it looks like new! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

During the purchase inspection of a 30 year old home, the home inspector identified some water damage under the fireplace and recommended we call Kicking Ash which we did. Even though Kicking Ash was in their busy time, they fit us into their schedule within two days of our request. They showed up on time and conducted a thorough inspection of the damaged area. They provided a great report which included a very reasonable estimate to repair the damage and upgrade the burner components to modern efficiency standards. Everyone I spoke to including the office staff was helpful and responsive. Chase Mullikin, who did the inspection reviewed it personally with us and put us at ease that we could go ahead with the purchase of the home. Chase even provided some suggestions to help until the damage could be repaired. Chase gained my trust with his straight forward assessment and recommendations. I would not hesitate to use this company for any of my chimney needs.

We could not be happier with our fireplace! Chase was curteous and quick to respond via email with answers to our questions from start to finish in the decision-making process. This was a 5-day job because we had a complete remodel done. Logan proved to be a very hard worker and addressed any questions/concerns we had throughout the whole labor process-he is definitely talented in his trade and it shows in his work. Highly recommend.
